It's true what people say! Love is one of life's greatest gifts! And, if people in general don't say it often, they should, as love is a very special thing! When one is loved, one gets support in their endeavors, one gets flattery, encouragement, compliments, generally, the whole package of good feelings!

When I hear about what desperate men do, which I dare not say, as it might violate the Terms of Service of DeviantART, but, all one needs to know is "The World's Oldest Occupation", and what I'm talking about here will click. Anyways, when I hear of men.... resorting to... that, it just shatters my view of humanity, as I feel all special loving gestures should be unconditional, and that path, well, isn't. I count my blessings every day, and I'm so glad my parents raised me to never have to go to that path, that, rather, my special moment will happen, and at no cost! Just saying.

Back to the good side...... love is quite a beautiful animal! Without love, the World would basically not have a functional ecosystem. If every animal species just allowed their young to be preyed upon, I imagine that there would be dozens of imbalances in the ecosystem every day. It's just an estimation, of course. Maybe, it wouldn't happen over a whole day, but, eventually, the ecosystem would be dangerously unbalanced, at some point. What I'm trying to get here, is, animals protect their young, to assure that they have a future that is as bright as possible. For example, whenever I would pass by the route to the college at this time of the year, Canadian Geese would be marching at around this time of day. And, I'm not being threatening to them, or, at the very least, I try not to. And, as I approach them to simply say hello, the geese hiss at me, as their young is crossing, so, I would watch my footing. The hissing is just a warning. They're telling me, "Hey! I don't know who you are, and I don't care! You leave our kids alone, and I don't touch you!", and, sure enough, I respect my boundaries, and I never get attacked. There are some people that I know that would cross that line, and I probably would be nowhere near surprised, as I just know that there are some insensitive jokers out there that don't respect their boundaries.

At any rate, another thing I cherish about love, it's how a loved one shows their loved one their support for personal goals. A true love shows that quitting something that one truly loves doing is a huge mistake, and that it shall never really be tolerated, and rightfully so. If someone supported quitting a beloved activity or hobby, that person isn't being actually loving, unless said activity or hobby is detrimental to one's health, such as smoking vast amounts of nicotine/crack/pot, etc., or getting drunk every night. In those cases, yes, I'd have to agree with actually supporting the quitting of these activities, as it shows concern for your loved one's well-being. However, supporting the abandonment of an activity that is beneficial is a no-no, and I'm happy to announce, I've never really heard of such a case. Demonstrating dedication and support for one's cherished activities is one of the most powerful forms of love, and it warms my heart to know that, people are always showing their dedication to their loved one's goals. For example, on movies, I always hear the classic scenario of a young girl with a huge ambition, but, she doubts herself, or has no self-confidence. And, late at night, her mother comforts her, and inspires her to never quit, no matter what, and she will reach her goal. I always think of those heart warming scenes, as they show me that... this is what life is all about. It is about showing the people you care for deeply, that, as long as they have goals in life, and they are willing to do anything to achieve these objectives/ambitions/desired outcomes/(or any term you want to refer to), their life has purpose, and this goal has a purpose, as well, the purpose of helping one grow more mature and learn about themselves to find out what needs to be done in order to reach the goal that they dreamed about ever since they were little.

The funny thing about this great gift, everyone can give it, everyone can get it, and it doesn't cost anything, and that's the way it should be! It's never manufactured, handmade, or in factories. No, it isn't. Instead, it comes from the heart, the greatest place, ever! I propose a toast to love!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great day!
