The surprise of a lifetime!

The Hacker and White Hawk look at their Team Hacker memorabilia. They are having alone time with one another in The Hacker's sacred workspace – home to the scouter and the portal that made The Hacker and White Hawk's worlds collide with Sonic and Amy's worlds.


Before the Team Hacker survivors can prepare for the final showdown against the baddest Black Hat Hacker, White Hawk suggests to her husband that he turn on the portal machine. The Hacker takes a deep breath. He knows that this machine brought heartbreaking news before.


The Hacker reluctantly turns on the machine. Curiously, he makes it scan for the Planet Mobius. White Hawk is disturbed, as she sees her husband unable to move. She soon learns the reason why.


The man is in shock – Mobius is still there! The hacker couple let tears roll down their faces. They're worried that Sonic and Amy will desert the Earth for their home planet. Sure enough, Sonic and Amy arrive with some exciting news to deliver to their friends.


However, they see that the hacker couple is crying while looking at the portal machine. “WHAT?!?!” Sonic shouts as he sees that Mobius is showing on screen. He makes it zoom in on the planet. However, instead of it being beautiful and rich with life like Earth, it looked as ugly as a boulder – and is seen as a lifeless, deserted planet. “Hacker.... I know this is hard for you to take. But, you need to do it.” Sonic starts. “Oh, I have a bad feeling about this!” The Hacker shouts, before getting elbowed by his wife.


White Hawk speaks up, “What is it? I'm sure he promises he'll comply!”, reassuring Sonic that her husband will do as Sonic desires. “I want you to copy what Robotnik did.” Sonic starts. “WHAT? NO WAY!” The Hacker shouts, shocked about his close friend's request. “I know it's awkward. But, listen. I can't bear to see my home planet in ruins.... please! Do what he did – and, please.... before you destroy Mobius, we'll have a remembrance ceremony. I can't bear to think of that once-beautiful planet now being just an ugly rock, like what it is, now! Promise me!” Sonic further demands his friend, who reluctantly nods his head. “If that's what you want, my friend.” The Hacker's voice cracks up. He is now faced with the impossible, as only Robotnik had the blueprints to the machine that ruined Mobius – and the plans were blown up.

The sad preparation

It took months for the technology to be perfected. The Hacker tests it on a pseudo moon to confirm it works. Before the remembrance ceremony commences, The Hacker asks Sonic and Amy for the last time if this is what they really desired.


He knew he could try his best to beautify Mobius. However, the Hedgehogs confirm that they still want their home planet's execution. Tails and Knuckles are also aware of the discovery. Everyone, including The Hacker and White Hawk, look at Mobius very closely through the portal machine. Nobody can bear what they see – the planet is in similar appearance to a sun – only less appealing.


Sonic is the first to say his parting words with his home planet. “So many adventures on the beautiful planet, such as when I first met Amy. Heh. That was a hoot! Soon after, we..... rescued Tails and Knuckles from the Sheriff of NOT, who was very, VERY, dumb! Oh, man! He was so stupid! Ha! I even told him who I was, and he didn't catch on! Now, that's dumb!” Sonic takes a deep breath as he sees everyone giving him some dirty look of some sort. He continues his speech, “Sorry. Uh, oh, yeah! Amy, remember the time Hacker fell on the planet? It was an intense day! We thought it was going to be the last day of our existence – and, I nearly kissed Amy right there and then, at the entrance of a nearby cave. Man! And, to think, that darkness was caused by this very same machine! I want the old thing to be blown up after Amy finishes her speech. Ame, you're next.”


Sonic now lets Amy have a few words to say about her beloved home planet. “Well, it was where Sonic and I met.... home to our first kiss! And, it's apparently the planet that Hacker and White Hawk lost their virginity to each other! Mobius will die today. However, it'll be immortal in our hearts. Now, Hacker has been patient with us – he kept asking why we want to blow up Mobius. The reason is simple – it's like the Earth tradition of a mercy killing. It's not that we want it to die – far from it! However, it's like any suffering creature – it's just existing, and not very beautiful. In mine and Sonic's eyes, our home planet is suffering. And, now, it's the moment of truth. Hacker, aim! And, fire when ready!” Amy had to hold Sonic's hands as she watches her friend reluctantly comply with the demand.

The planet's execution....

The Hacker aims at Mobius's orbit, knowing that the pure energy that is emitted may not reach the planet at all, as it is still rotating around its own sun. A special identification routine was required to confirm the operation. The Hacker had to let the planet detonating machine read his hand print. “Identification confirmed. Operation confirmed. Operation will commence in 5,4,3,2,1....” A female robotic voice  announces to everyone in the laboratory. The crowd watches frantically the last moments of Mobius. As Sonic and Amy see the deadly energy blast finally hit Mobius, they whisper to it, “Goodbye, old rock! You had a wonderful life, while you had it.... it is now time to let other planets have a turn at being created!”, and mourn their planet's execution.





The Hacker is now sad that he had to do this. However, it was due to Sonic and Amy's insistence. They thank him. However, The Hacker isn't in the mood to talk to anyone.
However, White Hawk has a plan to distract her husband from his pain.
